Gregg Donley, Class of 1983
Gregg Donley, a 1983 graduate of Rockford High School, has had a distinguished career in the field of computer engineering. He earned both his B.S. and M.S. degrees from the University of Michigan, which laid the foundation for his work as a Design Engineer at Unisys from 1989 to 1995. Gregg later co-founded Network Virtual Systems, where he served as Director/VP of Engineering from 1996 to 2004. For the past two decades, Gregg has been a key contributor at Advanced Micro Devices (AMD), where he is an Engineering Fellow and holds multiple industry patents. Gregg's innovative work has left a lasting impact on the field of computer engineering, demonstrating his commitment to advancing technology.

Linda Southwick, Class of 1972
Born and raised in Rockford, Linda Southwick has dedicated her life to the betterment of her community. Beginning her career at Grand Rapids Controls, Linda played a crucial role in fostering collaboration within the local industrial park. Her commitment to Rockford is evident through her 25 years of service on the Rockford Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and her leadership as Executive Director of the Chamber for 12 years. Linda also served on the Board of North Kent Connect, focusing on enhancing their programs to better serve the community. Her passion for Rockford, its downtown area, schools, and businesses has been the driving force behind her efforts to create a prosperous and united community.

Sean Wheeler, Class of 1990
Sean Wheeler has dedicated his life to public safety and community service. With 29 years of experience in law enforcement, Sean has worked with the Michigan Department of Corrections and currently serves on the Michigan Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) taskforce. Sean is also a passionate volunteer for Special Olympics Michigan and the Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR), where he plays an active role in fundraising and event coordination. Sean was Michigan's law enforcement representative to escort the Olympic Flame to start the 2023 Special Olympics World Games in Berlin, Germany. His commitment extends to his work with the Rockford Department of Public Safety and his involvement in the Grand Rapids Polar Plunge. Sean’s dedication to both his profession and his community has earned him numerous accolades, including the prestigious David Wonch Award in 2022.

Bobbi Jo and William Blanton
Bobbi Jo and William Blanton are pillars of the Rockford community, with a deep commitment to philanthropy and volunteerism. William, the CEO and owner of Middleville Tool and Die, has successfully balanced his professional responsibilities with raising a family and volunteering as a coach. Bobbi Jo, Chief Operating Officer at Innovia Wealth, former Chair of the Rockford Education Foundation and former Rockford Public Schools Board of Education Member, has brought her extensive experience in accounting and business operations to the team, earning recognition as a Woman of Excellence by MetalForming magazine. Together, they own Le Macaron and volunteer with the Down Syndrome Association of West Michigan and CASA. Their support for the Rockford Counseling Dog Program and other community initiatives highlights their dedication to making a positive impact in Rockford and beyond.

Mike Cuneo
Mike Cuneo served Rockford Public Schools for over 24 years, culminating in his role as Assistant Superintendent of Finance. Mike was instrumental in shaping the district’s financial strategy, including spearheading the 2019 bond project that secured $185 million for improvements across the district. This bond led to the construction of Edgerton Trails Elementary and numerous other projects that have enhanced the educational experience in Rockford. Mike’s leadership during times of financial challenge and prosperity ensured that Rockford remained a top choice for families in West Michigan. Terry Konkle
Terry Konkle is a revered educator and coach who spent his entire career teaching American Literature and writing at Rockford High School. Over 41 years, Terry coached football, basketball, tennis, and softball, achieving remarkable success, including back-to-back undefeated seasons in varsity basketball and leading the tennis team to a Class B runner-up finish. He also started the softball program in 1978, guiding the team to seven straight 20-win seasons. In 1990, Terry was honored as part of the first class of the Rockford Athletic Hall of Fame. Beyond athletics, Terry served on the Rockford Housing Commission for 18 years and the Rockford City Council, where he was elected Mayor in 2022. His dedication to preserving Rockford’s history is evident in his work to establish the Rockford Area Museum, earning him a Daughters of the American Revolution National Community Service Award in 2014.

Sam Cuneo, Class of 2015
Sam Cuneo, a 2015 graduate of Rockford High School, is a decorated track and field athlete who earned 11 All-State and All-Academic honors during her high school career. Sam holds the 400m dash record at Rockford High School and was the MHSAA Division 1 State Champion in the 400m dash in 2015. She also holds the 200m dash record at RHS and placed 3rd in the 200m dash state finals three consecutive years. She continued her track career at Central Michigan University, where she was the 2017 Indoor Mid American 400m Conference Champion and helped break the CMU 4x400m relay indoor record, alongside winning the 2019 Indoor MAC Track and Field Championships with her team. Sam’s dedication to her sport and her achievements on the track have made her a standout athlete in Rockford’s history.

Drew Powell, Class of 2003
Drew Powell, a 2003 graduate of Rockford High School, was an integral part of the Rams’ 2003 State Championship Basketball team. A standout athlete in both football and basketball, Drew’s leadership and athleticism were key to the team’s success. After pursuing a career in business, Drew found his true calling in education and now teaches high school Spanish in Virginia. His journey from a state champion athlete to a dedicated educator reflects his commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of young people.

Andi Raymond, Class of 2010
Andi Raymond, a 2010 graduate of Rockford High School, is a celebrated athlete who made her mark at Rockford High School as a four-year letter winner in lacrosse and 3-year letter winner in basketball. She led the Rams to a state title in lacrosse as a senior and set Michigan’s single-season scoring record with 197 points as a junior. At Towson University, Andi continued to excel, earning multiple All-CAA honors and being named CAA Co-Player of the Year in 2014. Andi’s collegiate career was capped by her inclusion on the Tewaaraton Award Watch List, recognizing her as one of the top female lacrosse players in the nation. Her athletic achievements and leadership on and off the field have cemented her legacy as one of Rockford’s greatest athletes.

Joe Staley, Class of 2003
Joe Staley, a 2003 graduate of Rockford High School, is a celebrated athlete who achieved remarkable success in football. A four-year football and track athlete at RHS, Joe went on to play for Central Michigan University before embarking on a 13-year career in the NFL. During his professional career, Joe earned six Pro Bowl selections, played in two Super Bowls, and was inducted into the Senior Bowl Hall of Fame. Joe’s accomplishments on the field are a source of pride for the Rockford community, and his legacy as a Rockford Ram continues to inspire young athletes.
