ROCKFORD, Mich. — Thanks to the generosity of the Rockford community, the Rockford Education Foundation’s (REF) Stock the Shelves campaign raised more than $6,000 to put new books into the hands of Rockford Public Schools students while supporting a local business.
In partnership with local Rockford bookstore, epilogue books, the campaign invited community members to give $50 to support school libraries and receive a $25 epilogue books gift card in return. It was a meaningful way to celebrate reading, invest in students, and support a local independent bookstore.
REF is grateful to epilogue books for their partnership and to every donor who helped make Stock the Shelves a success. Together, we’re helping fill school library shelves with new books while supporting a business that makes our Rockford community special.
